Isabel Coberly is a senior in Columbia College from Chicago studying Political Science and History. Her interests include gender justice, criminal justice reform, and immigration. Since her first semester at Columbia, Isabel has dedicated time to advancing the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment through internships, volunteer work, and a research position at Columbia Law School’s ERA Project. She has pursued a passion for the law more broadly as an investigative intern for the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia and as a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. On campus, Isabel is also Journal Editor at the Columbia Policy Institute and a former Lead Editor at the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review.
